Parramatta Precincts

Over the next five years, $20 billion will be invested into Parramatta’s infrastructure and development, giving rise to unprecedented development in Parramatta’s precincts and allowing spaces and places to flourish. Right across the City, Parramatta’s precincts are creating a diverse and rich experience for workers, residents, students and visitors. Discover what’s happening in Parramatta’s precincts now and into the near future.

The Parramatta CBD is located in the geographical heart of Sydney. It’s otherwise known as Sydney’s Central River City. The precinct is undergoing significant growth and revitalisation.

Sydney Olympic Park is a 640-hectare residential, commercial, education and entertainment precinct, 14 kilometres west of Sydney’s CBD and 9km east of Parramatta. It boasts 430 hectares of green space and parklands and seven sporting venues.

Part of the Parramatta Growth Area, the 104-hectare Rydalmere NSW industrial precinct is 3km from the Parramatta CBD. The precinct fronts the Parramatta River and Victoria Road, and extends to Rydalmere Ferry Wharf in the east.

A strong housing market has seen Epping experience unprecedented levels of redevelopment and growth since rezoning in 2014 and brought significant challenges and transport opportunities to this planned precinct.
